AmeriCorps Neighbor-to-Neighbor Program

AmeriCorps Neighbor to Neighbor Program (N2N)

CVCOA is the statewide sponsor for this program, which is considered a “domestic” Peace Corps initiative. N2N provides support through activities such as:

Performing direct services to enable seniors and those with disabilities to continue living independently
Recruiting volunteers and directing them in their services with seniors and those with disabilities
Presenting aging programs and activities with focuses such as exercise and movement, healthy living, safety, memoir writing, crafts, and more
Building partnerships with schools, churches, service clubs, and other organizations that serve seniors and those with disabilities
Engaging in community service learning, monthly trainings, reading groups, and teamwork to meet the challenges of being an AmeriCorps member as well as life after AmeriCorps.
