Legal Services: Senior Citizens Law Project CVCOA participates in a statewide contract with Vermont Legal Aid to provide direct attorney services to area seniors, as well as advocacy on issues affecting a large number of Vermont seniors. The Senior Law Project works closely with the case management program to provide professional legal advice, consultation and representation to seniors when needed. Some of the areas addressed by the Senior Law Project include protecting personal autonomy, preserving the ability to live independently, and assuring access to essential income, benefits and health care. People 60+ can schedule a 20 minute appointemnt about any legal problem. Funded by a grant from the Vermont Area Agencies on Aging.
