Information & Assistance

Whether it’s a simple question or a complex situation, CVCOA's Information & Assistance staff are available for you.

Every day, they work with seniors, family members, and caregivers to provide accurate and comprehensive information about the wide range of services available to seniors.

I&A staff use an Options Counseling approach to help to prioritize your needs, identify the resources that match your situation, and build action plans that might include:

  • Medicare and other health insurances
  • Public benefits
  • Housing and in-home help
  • Transportation
  • Nutrition and 3SquaresVT applications

If needed, we will provide referrals to CVCOA case managers, other agencies, or additional services. Our staff follows up to assure that your needs have been met and advocate on behalf of those who require extra support.

Concerned community members may also make referrals to I&A on behalf of seniors who may be at risk or in need of services.

Connect with us by calling the Senior HelpLine at (800) 642-5119 or emailing cvcoa@cvcoa.org.
