Re-Opening Planning Underway at Central Vermont Council on Aging

Re-Opening Planning Underway at Central Vermont Council on Aging

CVCOA has begun planning for the eventual reopening of our offices and for seeing clients in person. “The staff at CVCOA really miss seeing our clients and community partners in person! Most of us went into this line of work because we like people, and we’d like nothing more than be able to resume our work in person. We are working hard to make that happen safely. Rest assured, we are still working for you behind the scenes, via phone, mail and email, and through enhanced technology,” said CVCOA's Executive Director Beth Stern.

The health and safety of our staff, clients and the public is our top priority. We are mindful that COVID-19 remains a serious health risk to all of us. There are many details to work out and the State of Vermont, in particular the Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living and the Center for Disease Control are providing excellent guidance to Central Vermont Council on Aging and our sister agencies as we plan for this next phase. We will keep you posted as we develop and implement these plans during the coming weeks and months.
