Family Caregiver Support Program           

               

The Family Caregiver Support Program serves family members and friends who are caring for elders 60 years and older, making it possible for them to remain in thier homes and communities. Services include:

  • Assistance in gaining access to support services: I & A Specialists and case managers can help caregivers get necesssary services for their loved ones
  • Respite grants: provide funds for adult day services, in-home help or other services for Dementia Respite or Family Caregivers
  • Family Caregiver Resources: information and resources for careivers and elders

Caregiver Resources: caregiver newsletter; workshops, support groups and websites; homecare providers and the Vermont Direct Care Worker Registry (use access code 123856); adult day centers

The Family Caregiver Support Program also serves grandparents & other relative caregivers 55 years and older who care for children 18 years and younger.
